Ethanol stations set for Perris, Beaumont
October 9th, 2008 - The Press-Enterprise

Construction will soon begin on the first stations in Riverside County to sell ethanol.

They will be located in Beaumont and Perris, according to San Diego-based Pearson Fuels.

The station in Beaumont will be at Oak Valley Parkway and Golf Course Drive. It will be a Chevron station and will sell gasoline and diesel along with ethanol.

In Perris, an ethanol-fueling pump is being added to an existing station, Joe's 76, on Harvill Avenue.

Of the five ethanol stations in California, Pearson built three. They're located in San Diego, Carlsbad and Concord.

Mike Lewis, a principal at Pearson Fuels, said the locations in Perris and Beaumont are on heavily traveled routes.

Lewis expects construction to begin shortly and for the work to be completed by late spring.
