About – Pearson Fuels

About Pearson Fuels

At Pearson Fuels, we believe the road to a more sustainable future starts at the pump. Founded in 2003 in San Diego, California, we began with a bold vision: to make alternative fuels accessible and practical for everyday drivers. Today, we’re proud to be the nation’s largest distributor of E85 flex fuel—a renewable, high-octane blend of 85% ethanol and 15% hydrocarbon that can significantly reduce lifecycle greenhouse gas emissions by up to 80% compared to California gasoline.

Our journey started with California’s first alternative fuel station. We’ve since grown to more than 400 retail locations throughout California. We work closely with retail gas stations, ethanol producers, and regulators to make E85 available to more drivers across the state.

Pearson Fuels is more than just a supplier; we’re a team of innovators, advocates, and energy experts committed to transforming the fuel landscape. Our work supports American agriculture, boosts domestic energy independence, and provides a cost-effective, cleaner-burning fuel to consumers who drive flex fuel vehicles (FFVs).

Whether you’re a retail gas station owner looking to diversify or a consumer searching for a more affordable fuel, Pearson Fuels is your best choice.

Our Story

Start of our Journey

50th Station

Pearson Fuels opens its 50th E85 station at 7494 Indiana Ave, Riverside, CA 92504, solidifying its presence in California as the leading provider of renewable fuel.
